Mission

The Middletown Recreation Council always welcomes anyone who would like to be a part of our organization. The MRC is a Middletown volunteer division of Frederick County Parks & Recreation. The Middletown Recreation Council has activities for all ages and in all seasons. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for the Middletown Community to get together with their neighbors, and out-of-towner's to enjoy the beautiful Middletown Park and have a good time.

Our activities include the Spring Egg Hunt, Marbles, Color Me Spring Festival, Independence Day Celebration. and Color Me Autumn Festival. We are also open to suggestions on other activities that you want to see the Recreation Council sponsor.

Volunteers

Members and volunteers for all events are needed. We hope you consider joining our group. Anyone who would like to be a volunteer for the Middletown Recreation Council may come to our meetings every second Tuesday of the month, 6:30 pm at the Middletown Primary School.
