Middletown Arts & Craft Festival

Time: 10:00 am till 5:00 pm. Rain or Shine!
Location: Middletown Community Park 7628 Coblenz Rd.

Come and join us for a day of fun!

  • Over 50 Fine Arts & Crafters from all over the Tri State area.
  • Reptile Show, kids may see and touch several species of reptiles (11:00 am to 3:00 pm.)
  • Look through a telescope at the sun (All Day.)
  • Watch an airplane demo (All Day.)
  • Children’s Craft Table (All Day.)
  • Play Marbles (All Day.)
  • Music, great food and more!

Community Garden & Pizza Garden

Location: Wiles Branch Park

Sign-up for the annual Pizza Garden in Wiles Branch Park thru the end of April. A small plot will be assigned to your child to grow their own vegetables you would find on a pizza for the season. All Plants are supplied by the MVCGA. Your child will need gloves, shovel & watering can. This is a great opportunity for your child to explore, discover, and learn about plant life and the natural world. Plots are limited and are based on a first come first serve basis and are free to the community.

Mom & Dad may sign up for the Community Vegetable Garden too!

A 10’ X 10’ plot will be assigned to plant your own vegetables to care for the season. The Community Vegetable and Pizza Garden is free to everyone.

Independence Day Celebration

Time: 12:00 pm until Fireworks (9:30 pm)
Location: Middletown Community Park 7628 Coblenz Rd.

FREE for the community! Starting off the festivities will be the raising of the flag. Bring a blanket and join us for a full day of entertainment for the entire family!

  • Large Remote Race Track
  • Pony Rides
  • Magician

  • Balloon artists
  • Climbing Wall
  • FREE sparkler water baton for the kids (while suppies last)
  • Inflatable’s

  • The Knight Brothers 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm
  • Military Tribute with renowned Bugler Jari Villanueva at 5:00 PM
  • Ghost Peppers 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm

Volunteers

Anyone who would like to be a volunteer for the Middletown Recreation Council may come to our meetings every second Thursday of the month, 6:30 pm at the Elementary School Recreation Center Room.

MRC Meetings

The Middletown Recreation Council meets the second Thursday of each month at the Middletown Elementary School, 403 Franklin Street at 6:30 p.m. If you are interested in joining the MRC, please come to the meeting.
