Independence Day Celebration
6.28.2008.

The Independence Day Celebration has been a tradition in Middletown since 1988. This is our biggest event. The MRC, Town Council and local businesses put together a full day of entertainment. Come and enjoy the food, music, dancing, children's shows, games, crafts and the absolutely awesome FIREWORKS!!!!

Featured in our children's section is the Inflatable Train, Twin Spin Ride and a Trackless Train Rides, a Giant Slide and a Mooonbounce. Main stage entertainment includes Bob Brown's Puppets, two magic shows by Peter Wood's Shazam Magic, comedy and juggling with Mark Lohr and a sing-a-long with the Mom & Me singing and dancing Dennis the Duck. Bubbles the Clown will once again be back with her balloon creations. The Free Pony Rides are Back!!! We also have two petting zoos, a games and craft section and much more!!! This section is sure to keep smiles on your child's face all day.

On our main stage, we have four live bands and more.

Don't miss the America and the Military Tribute at 8pm featuring music and special speakers. This is what the celebration is all about.. our chance to take the time to appreciate our Independence and the people who protect our freedoms.
