Teen Dances

MRC hosts the teen dances for 6th, 7th and 8th graders at the Middletown Middle School. Most dances are the 3rd Friday of each month from October to May from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

The teens have a fun time with their friends, meet new friends, dance and socialize. The DJ plays a wide variety of music. Security is provided by the Sheriff’s Dept and adults are posted throughout the dance. Funds raised from the dances go to the future purchase of items for the Teen Center to be built by Frederick Parks & Recreation and to help fund other MRC programs.

We always need chaperones! We are looking for people to help organize and run the dances.
