Dad and Son Welcome to the Middletown Recreation Council Web Site!
The Middletown Recreation Council has activities for all ages and in all seasons. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for the Middletown Community to get together with their neighbors, enjoy the beautiful Middletown Park and have a good time.
Our activities include Teen Dances, Fishing Derby, Volleyball, Classic Car and Motorcycle Show, Spring Egg Hunt and the July Independence Celebration in the Park. We are also open to suggestions on other activities that you want to see the Recreation Council sponsor. Members and volunteers for all events are needed. We hope you consider joining our group. We meet the second Wednesday of every month at the Middletown Volunteer Fire Company, 13 S. Church St., in Middletown.

Skateboard Spot Fundraising

Mission:

To reach out to residents, organizations, and businesses in Middletown and surrounding towns, in aiding our fundraising campaign for the Middletown Skateboard Spot.

Goal:

To provide a safe place to skate in Middletown, so skateboarders can Ollie, Lipslide, and Kickflip to their heart’s content closer to home. Skateboarding is a popular, healthy form of recreation for our youth. In providing the Skateboard Spot for our youth, we believe we will give them a positive diversion, raise self esteem, and keep them off the streets where skateboarding is illegal. We hope the Skateboard Spot Campaign effort will be an inspiration to any person or group in Middletown for creating other needed recreational sites for our youth, through community support.

Donations:

A contribution from everyone is sure to get the project done!
Make checks payable to MRC Skateboard Spot Fund.
Mail donations to Skateboard Spot, P/O Box 1061 Middletown, MD 21769.
