Dad and Son Welcome to the Middletown Recreation Council Web Site!
The Middletown Recreation Council has activities for all ages and in all seasons. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for the Middletown
Community to get together with their neighbors, enjoy the beautiful Middletown Park and have a good time.
Our activities include Volleyball, Spring Egg Hunt, Marbles, May Festival (celebration of Earth Day and features The Great Middletown Scavenger Hunt) and the July Independence Celebration in the Park. We are also open to suggestions on other activities that you want to see the Recreation Council sponsor. Members and volunteers for all events are needed. We hope you consider joining our group. We meet the second Thursday of every month at the Middletown Primary School.

29th Independence Day Celebration

Location: Middletown Community Park, 7628 Coblenz Rd.

Bring a blanket and join us for the day! Starting off the day will be the raising of the flag by Cub Scout Pack 278 & Pack 476.

Military Tribute will be after the raising of the flag.

There will be a full day of fun for the whole family with a Large remote Race Track, Balloon Artists, & Pony rides. All is Free. Inflatable's proceeds will benefit Senior Girl Scout Troop 81336 and Cadette Girl Scout Troop 81601.

Take a look at the variety of Arts & Crafter's who will have their wares for sell.

Please note that children's activities will close down between 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Great food: Food Country Concessions, Roy's Concessions, Keep It Smokin BBQ, Pete Pit Beef BBQ, Big Daddy's Pizza, Maggie's Bake Shop, & Kona Ice.

Band: Ghost Pepper, 7:00-9:30

Mission

The Middletown Recreation Council always welcomes anyone who would like to be a part of our organization. The MRC is a Middletown volunteer division of Frederick County Parks & Recreation. The Middletown Recreation Council has activities for all ages and in all seasons. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for the Middletown Community to get together with their neighbors, and out-of-towner's to enjoy the beautiful Middletown Park and have a good time.

Our activities include Volleyball, Fund Raising for the Middletown Skate Park, Spring Egg Hunt, Marbles, Arts & Craft Festival, Independence Day Celebration. and Color Me Autumn Festival. We are also open to suggestions on other activities that you want to see the Recreation Council sponsor. Members and volunteers for all events are needed. We hope you consider joining our group. We meet the second Tuesday of every month, 7:00 pm, at the Middletown Primary School.

Anyone who would like to be a volunteer for the Middletown Recreation Council may come to our meetings every second Tuesday of the month, 7:00 pm at the Middletown Primary School.
